Del Mar is a beachfront community 20 miles north of San Diego. It combines a great climate and beautiful setting with the class and glamour of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Originally a purely agricultural fair, the County Fair now typically offers more than 4,000 attractions and close to 2,000 live performances. The facilities at Del Mar’s many first-class resorts include outstanding spa treatments at L’Auberge Hotel and a magnificent Tom Fazio-designed golf course at The Fairmont Grand.
Del Mar is zoned to the Del Mar Union Elementary School District.
